NOTE: This position is for someone who is fully bilingual (English/Japanese) & requires some knowledge of advertising, production, and / or music industries.

Primary Color Music is looking for someone to help in a part-time / freelance capacity to manage projects coming in from clients in Japan. We are looking for a bilingual, organized, and motivated person to manage projects in Japan and possibly elsewhere throughout Asia. Our ideal candidate is confident and understanding, able to work directly with diverse clients and with our internal team to clearly communicate project briefs and deliver audio assets in a timely and professional manner.

Duties

• Project Management

  • Understanding our workflow and seamlessly coordinating production and communication between clients and our creative team

  • Budget and schedule management with clients

Requirements

• Fully Bilingual - English and Japanese

• Solid understanding of music (genres, vocabulary, bands, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience working in a similar role at an audio company

• Fluency in languages other than English and Japanese

• Located in (or willing to relocate to) Tokyo

• Experience in project management

• Experience working in the music or advertising industry
